7-декабря-2021 – Еду из Уфы в Саратов. В 90км от Уфы есть точка с интересными координатами 55°N 55°E. Трудно проехать мимо. До Кушнарёво по М7 хорошее шоссе. На развязке съезжаю с трассы в западном направлении. Проезжаю Байталлы, далее идёт хорошая грунтовка. В Нижнесаитово сворачиваю на дальнем южном въезде. Проезжаю через село, небольшой лес, впереди видна ферма. К ней ехать не надо, сворачиваю налево к мосту. Снега ещё не много и колеи хорошо просматриваются. Мост на месте, на льду рыбак ловит рыбу. Дальше настраиваю навигатор «по прямой». Дорога раздваивается – левая к ферме, правая к лесополосе. Еду по правой. За посадками поле, посреди него не распаханный островок с лесом, колея приводит туда. Паркую автомобиль у столба с табличкой. Рядом столб с указанием направлений и расстояний до различных столиц мира. Моя точка 55°N 55°E находится в поле в 460 метрах северо-западнее этих столбов. Не удобно искать слияние с помощью смартфона, нахожу наиболее близкую точку, делаю скриншот и необходимые фото.

Возвратившись к машине, изучаю надпись на табличке. Сделано Русским географическим обществом (?). «Единственная на Земле географическая точка с координатами: 55°55′ северной широты 55°55′ восточной долготы, находящаяся на суше. д.Нижнесаитово, Кушнарёвский р-н, РБ.». Не логично, это «без пяти минут» 56°N 56°E. Не может быть здесь такой точки! Ввожу в навигатор эти координаты и получаю, что расположена она в 117 километрах у деревни Новоямурзино, Балтачевского р-на, РБ. Странная ошибка под эгидой «РГО».

Встречаю такую ошибку не первый раз. В городе Нефтеюганск на Набережной есть ротонда и там в металле вылиты координаты «72°60′ ВД, 61°09′ СШ». Это в 22 км отсюда. Если бы написали «72,60° ВД, 61,09° СШ» было бы верно.
Точка 55°N 55°E расположена в Кушнарёвском районе республики Башкарторстан в 1,5 км северо-западнее деревни Нижнесаитово. Вокруг распаханные поля разделённые лесополосами. Лесов мало. Рельеф равнинный.

7-Dec-2021 – I am going from Ufa to Saratov. 90 km away from Ufa there is a point with interesting coordinates 55 ° N 55 ° E. It's hard to resist the temptation to visit it. The road to Kushnarevo is pretty good, highway M7. At the junction I leave the highway and turn westwards. I pass Bajtally, then there is good earth-road. In Nizhnesaitovo I take the further southern turn. I drive through the village, a small forest. I can see a farm ahead, but I do not have to go there and turn left to the bridge. There is not much snow yet, and the tracks are well visible. The bridge is there, there is fisherman fishing on the ice. Then I set my navigator to "straight ahead". The road splits – the left one goes to the farm, the right one to the forest belt. I go to the right. Behind the forest there is a field, in the midst of it there is a small forest patch that has not been broken. The track leads there. I park my car at a post with a sign. There is another post near, indicating directions and distances to different capitals of the world. My target point 55°N 55°E is in the field 460 meters to the north-west of these posts. It is not convenient to search for the point of confluence with a smartphone. I find the closest point, make a screenshot and the necessary photos.

Having returned to the car, I study the inscription on the plate. Made by the Russian geographical society (?). "The only geographical point on the Earth with coordinates: 55 ° 55 'Northern latitude of 55 ° 55' Eastern longitude, located on land. Village of Niznesaito, Kushnarevsky district, the Republic of Bashkortostan ". It is not logical, it is almost 56°N 56°E. There can be no such point here! I enter these coordinates into the navigator and according to it, the point is located 117 kilometers from the village of Novoyamurzino, Baltachevsky district, the Republic of Bashkortostan. A strange mistake made by the Russian geographical society.

I have met such a mistake before. In the city of Nefteyugansk on the Embankment there is a rotunda and the coordinates cast in metal: "72°60' E, 61°09' N". In fact that was 22 km away from there. If it were written "72°60′ E, 61°09′ N" it would be true.

The point 55°N 55°E is located in Kushnaryovsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan 1.5 km north-west of the village Nizhnesaitovo. It is surrounded by the plowed fields separated by forest belts. The forest is not big. The relief is flat.
