3-мая-2012 – От 48°N 47°E команда направилась в дельту Волги к Каспийскому морю. В село Цветное мы прибыли вечером. Созвонились с Олегом, владельцем лодки и договорились об утренней прогулке.
Олег хорошо знает местные протоки. Маршрут проходил по ерику Створный и Карайский банк. На некоторых картах ерик Створный называют Новый банк и Рычанский канал. Эти каналы и банки построены в 1960-1970 годах. Весь путь в 35 км занял немного больше часа. От точки до открытой воды Каспия ещё полчаса хода.
Точка расположена в Володарском районе Астраханской области. Вокруг протоки и заросли камыша. Ближайшая земля находится в 2 км. Самый близкий населённый пункт – посёлок Контрольная Тоня, расположен в 22,6 км на север-западе от слияния. На расстоянии 29-30 км расположены поселки Цветное, Тишково, Красный и Блиново. Проще всего добраться из Цветного. В 11,5 км от точки находится обитаемая база отдыха «Карай».

3-May-22 – From 48°N 47°E, the team headed to the Volga delta to the Caspian Sea. We arrived in the village of Tsvetnoye in the evening. We called Oleg, the owner of the boat, and agreed on a morning walk.
Oleg knows the local ducts well. The route passed through the yerik Stvorny and Karai Bank. On some maps, the yerik Stvorny is called Novy Bank and Rychansky Canal. These canals and banks were built in the 1960s and 1970s. The entire journey of 35 km took a little more than an hour. From the point to the open water of the Caspian Sea is another half an hour of travel.
The point is located in the Volodarsky District of Astrakhan Oblast. Around the streams and thickets of reeds. The nearest land is 2 km. The nearest settlement is the village of Controlnaya Tonya, it is located 22.6 km north-west from the confluence. At a distance of 29-30 km are the villages of Tsvetnoye, Tishkovo, Krasny and Blinovo. The easiest way to get there is from Tsvetnoye. In 11.5 km from the point there is an inhabited recreation center "Karai".
The next point of the route is 46°N 47°E near the village of Zenzeli in Kalmykia.
