14-Августа-2010 – От сляния 46°N 43°E мы отправились к 45°N 44°E. Точка расположена в Будённовском районе Ставропольского края в 7,6 км от села Прогресс. В километре от него на трассе Будённовск – Светлоград находится посёлок Большевистская Искра. Полевые дороги в сухое время года хорошо проходимы на машине. Поля чередуются с пастбищами, лесополос меньше, чем на севере Ставропольского края.

К самому слиянию подъехали на расстояние 120 метров. Пришлось немного пройти пешком. К трассе возвращались более прямым путём. Далее отправились к точке 45°N 43°E.

Если от посёлка Искра по трассе проехать 25 км в юго-восточном направлении, то вы попадёте в город Будённовск. VIII- XVI века – на месте современного города находился крупный хазарский город Маджары. Будённовск – обычный районный центр России. 14 июня 1995 года об этом городе услышал весь мир. Группа террористов захватила в заложники более 1600 жителей Будённовска, которых согнали в местную больницу. 17 июня в обмен на освобождение всех заложников бандитам позволили вернуться в Чечню.

The confluence point 45°N 44°E is situated in Budennovskiy district of Stavropol' territory, in 7.6 km from Progress village. There is the village named Bolshevistskaya Iskra in 1 km from it on the road Budennovsk – Svetlograd. It isn’t difficult to drive onto the field dirt roads in summer when they are dry. The fields interchange with pastures, here there are less forest belts than in the north of Stavropol' territory.

We drove up to the 120 meters from the confluence, the rest of the way we had to walk. On our back way we walked by the more direct path. After visiting this confluence we set off towards 45°N 43°E.

If you go 25 km by the road from Iskra village to SE, you’ll reach the town of Budennovsk. In 8–16 centuries there was a big Khazar city Madzhary. Budennovsk is a typical Russian district center. On the 14th of June 1995 the entire world learned about it. The group of terrorists took more than 1600 Budennovsk habitants hostage. People were driven together to the local hospital. On the 17th of June people were freed, in exchanged for the bandits were allowed to come back to Chechnya.
