3-Августа-2023 – После удачной экспедиции на Эльбрус группа разъехалась по домам в разные стороны. Я решил посетить Карачаево-Черкессию, точку 44N-42E. От Кисловодска направился на запад в сторону Усть-Джеуты. Погода с набором высоты стала портиться. В горах пошёл дождь, видимость сильно упала. Ближе к Новой Джегуте дождь закончился. Я свернул в горы. На одном из поворотов вместо дороги обнаружил реку. На плато пришлось побуксовать. Выехал из ямы, немного перегрел мотор. Вечереет. До точки около трёх километров, какая дорога впереди после дождя не известно. Оставляю машину, бегу пешком. Дорога скользкая с промоинами и глубокой колеёй. В сухую погоду она вполне проходима. Срезаю по траве, мокрый по пояс. Точка конфлюенции находится на склоне в 65 метрах от дороги. На севере начинается гроза, скоро стемнеет. Спешу. Точные координаты найти не удаётся. Возвращаюсь к машине уже в сумерках. Снова начинается дождь. Ночую в ближайшей лесополосе.

Точка расположена в Усть-Джегутинском районе, Карачаево-Черкесская Республики, в 3км юго-западнее аула Новая Джегута.

3-Aug-2023 – After a successful expedition to Elbrus, the group went home in different directions. I decided to visit Karachay-Cherkessia, point 44N-42E. From Kislovodsk I headed west towards Ust-Dzheuta. The weather began to deteriorate as we gained altitude. It began to rain in the mountains and visibility dropped significantly. Closer to Novaya Dzheguta the rain stopped. I turned into the mountains. At one of the turns I found a river instead of a road. On the plateau we had to skid. I drove out of the pit and overheated the engine a little. It's getting dark. To a point about three kilometers away, it is not known what road ahead after the rain. I leave the car and run on foot. The road is slippery with gullies and deep ruts. In dry weather it is quite passable. I cut through the grass, wet to the waist. The point of confluence is located on a slope 65 meters from the road. A thunderstorm is starting in the north, it will soon get dark. I'm in a hurry. The exact coordinates cannot be found. I return to the car at dusk. It starts raining again. I spend the night in the nearest forest belt.

The point is located in the Ust-Dzhegutinsky district, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, 3 km southwest of the village of Novaya Dzheguta.
